Infinitely inspired to do good work with good people, Stephanie Katsaros founded Bright Beat in 2010 to activate environmental stewardship and social responsibility at events and venues. As costs and consciousness rise, so has the value of a sustainability program delivering operational efficiency and impact-driven engagement. Her project partnerships and advocacy work with cities and festivals, corporations and non-profits, have influenced policy, inspired community legacy projects, and continue to win awards and raise the bar on responsible event production.
Bright Beat has helped many friends step up their game, including Electric Forest Festival, Grateful Dead: Fare Thee Well, Green Music Fest, Vertex, Allstate Arena and Brooklyn Bowl. Stephanie leads the Chicago Sustainability Task Force, serves on the iHeartMedia Advisory Board and was named the Illinois Recycling Association Educator of the Year.
Stephanie’s social entrepreneurship emerged after 12+ years in the radio and event world, building strategic partnerships, innovative sponsorships and promoting great music… and a life-changing 14+ month solo journey around the world.
