An HEC Montreal graduate, Simon spent most of his career in advertising, managing national accounts such as McDonald’s, General Motors, and Rogers Wireless, where he experienced the industry's digital transformation first-hand. Understanding the importance of data in a content strategist role was his main focus.
He now leads the marketing department at klik — a unique event engagement platform — where he focuses on inbound marketing and content strategy. Through this role, Simon is also part of an inner circle of discussions with many of the most innovative event organizers in the world. His understanding of platform models gives him a deep understanding of these clients’ need for new digital solutions. All of which has provided him with a distinct view of the events industry and where it is heading in terms of technology.
